OrthoRep Terms of Use

Acceptance of Terms

By downloading or using OrthoRep for iPhone or Apple Watch ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. These Terms are effective as of November 5, 2026.

OrthoRep is operated by ORTHOREP LLC, a Washington limited liability company. "We", "our", and "us" mean ORTHOREP LLC.

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Health & Fitness Disclaimer, and the applicable consumer health data notices, are the entire agreement between you and ORTHOREP LLC about the App and replace any earlier agreements or communications.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use OrthoRep, or older if the law where you live sets a higher minimum age for using apps like this one. If you are under 18, you may use OrthoRep only with the permission of a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for any purchases. The App does not verify age.

What OrthoRep Is

OrthoRep is a strength training logger for iPhone and Apple Watch. It stores your workouts, routines, and records on your own devices. There is no OrthoRep account, no sign-in, and no cloud copy of your data. The Apple Watch app works on its own and moves workouts to your iPhone when the devices are together.

The App does not include artificial intelligence features, social features, or coaching from a person. Progression and weight suggestions are calculated on your device from your own history using fixed rules; they are suggestions, not instructions.

Access, Free Features, and Purchases

Always free. Viewing your workout history and exporting your data are always available, whether or not you have paid.

Access. Logging new workouts requires OrthoRep access. Access is sold through Apple’s App Store with these options (prices shown in US dollars; your local App Store price may differ):

  • Annual: $20.00 per year. Eligible new customers get a 14-day free trial, after which the subscription renews at the annual price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
  • Monthly: $3.99 per month. No free trial.
  • Lifetime: $64.99, a one-time purchase that does not renew. No free trial.

The current prices are shown in the App before you buy.

Apple handles billing. By purchasing, you agree to the following Apple-standard terms:

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
  • Annual and Monthly subscriptions renew automatically unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
  • You can manage or cancel a subscription in the App (Profile › Manage Subscription) or in iOS Settings › your name › Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period, and you keep access until then.
  • Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you buy Lifetime or another plan.
  • Buying Lifetime does not cancel a running Annual or Monthly subscription. If you want to switch from Annual (or the Annual trial) to Lifetime, cancel the subscription in Manage Subscription first so it does not renew.
  • Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s policies. Request them through Apple, not through us.
  • Restoring purchases uses the Apple ID that made the purchase. There is no OrthoRep account to sign in to.
  • Purchases are made on iPhone. The Apple Watch app checks the same Apple ID and unlocks when your iPhone has access.
  • OrthoRep purchases are not shareable through Apple Family Sharing.

When access ends. If your trial or subscription ends, you can still open the App, view your history, and export your data. You cannot log new workouts until access is restored.

Your Data Is on Your Devices

You are responsible for your devices and for keeping copies of data that matters to you. Because OrthoRep does not keep a cloud copy, data that has not been exported is lost if your device is lost, erased, or the App is deleted. We recommend exporting regularly from Profile › Export Data. ORTHOREP LLC is not responsible for data that is lost from your device.

User Content

You own the workout data, routines, notes, and other content you create in OrthoRep ("User Content"). It stays on your devices, and we do not receive it. The App processes it on your devices only to provide the features you use.

Anonymous usage analytics, which contain no User Content, are described in the Privacy Policy and can be turned off in the App.

We will never sell your User Content or use it to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App, except where the law allows it regardless of this clause
  • Redistribute, sublicense, or resell the OrthoRep exercise database or any App content
  • Use automated means to extract the exercise database or other App content
  • Use OrthoRep content to train artificial intelligence or machine learning models
  • Circumvent access controls or the App Store purchase requirement
  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App or the systems that deliver it

Health & Fitness Disclaimer

OrthoRep is a workout logging tool. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Consult a qualified healthcare provider before starting or changing an exercise program.

Strength training carries inherent risks, including injury. You assume all risks associated with your exercise activities and your use of the App, and you agree to hold ORTHOREP LLC harmless from claims arising from those activities.

Intellectual Property

The OrthoRep name, logo, branding, exercise database, user interface, and all related intellectual property belong to ORTHOREP LLC. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on Apple devices you own or control, under these Terms and Apple’s App Store terms. All other rights are reserved. You may not use our trademarks or branding without written permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE". ORTHOREP LLC MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE, THAT DATA WILL NOT BE LOST, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED. We may change, discontinue, or stop supporting features or the App at any time without liability.

Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ORTHOREP LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY, DATA LOSS, INCORRECT WEIGHT OR PROGRESSION SUGGESTIONS, OR LOSS OF PROFITS, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE APP, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE APP IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless ORTHOREP LLC and its officers, members, employees, and agents from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the App, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of another party’s rights.

Dispute Resolution

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, without regard to its conflict of law rules.

Binding arbitration. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the App will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules. Arbitration will take place in the State of Washington. The arbitrator’s decision is final and binding. Discovery is limited to information directly relevant to the dispute, and the proceedings and result are confidential.

Exceptions. Either party may bring a qualifying claim in small claims court. ORTHOREP LLC may seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to protect its intellectual property or the exercise database.

Class action waiver. Disputes will be resolved on an individual basis only. You waive any right to participate in a class action, class arbitration, consolidated arbitration, private attorney general action, or other representative proceeding against ORTHOREP LLC. Claims may not be joined or consolidated unless ORTHOREP LLC agrees in writing.

30-day opt-out. You may opt out of the arbitration and class action waiver provisions by emailing legal@orthorep.app within 30 days of first accepting these Terms. Include your name, a way to contact you, and a clear statement that you wish to opt out.

Apple App Store Provisions

If you obtained OrthoRep through the Apple App Store:

  • These Terms are between you and ORTHOREP LLC, not Apple. ORTHOREP LLC is solely responsible for the App and its content.
  • Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
  • Apple is not responsible for any product warranties. If the App fails to conform to an applicable warranty, you may notify Apple and Apple will refund the purchase price; Apple has no other warranty obligation.
  • Apple is not responsible for addressing claims relating to the App, including product liability, consumer protection, or intellectual property claims.
  • Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
  • You must comply with Apple’s App Store Terms of Service and any applicable third-party terms.

Third-Party Services

The App integrates with Apple services (Apple Health, StoreKit, Watch Connectivity) and an analytics provider as described in the Privacy Policy. ORTHOREP LLC is not responsible for the availability or accuracy of third-party services, and your use of them is subject to their own terms. The App may also offer optional preview features, which are provided "as is" and may change or be removed without notice.

Modifications

We may update these Terms. We will post the updated Terms at orthorep.app/terms and in the App’s Legal section, and update the "Last updated" date. For material changes, the App will ask you to review and accept the new Terms. Continued use after the effective date is acceptance of the updated Terms.

Termination

You may stop using the App at any time by deleting it. We may suspend or end your right to use the App if you violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent or unlawful activity, and we may discontinue the App. Your App Store purchases remain subject to Apple’s policies. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Dispute Resolution) survive.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the remaining provisions remain in full force.

Force Majeure

ORTHOREP LLC is not liable for failure or delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, war, terrorism, pandemics, government action, power or telecommunications failures, App Store outages, fire, floods, or strikes.

Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our written consent. ORTHOREP LLC may assign these Terms without restriction, including in a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets. Any attempted assignment in violation of this section is void.

Export Compliance

You agree to comply with applicable export and re-export control laws, including the US Export Administration Regulations. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a US government embargo and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
