Last updated: November 5, 2026

Entity: ORTHOREP LLC, Washington State

General Wellness Only

OrthoRep is intended only for general fitness, exercise logging, workout organization, and wellness purposes. OrthoRep is not a medical device, medical service, emergency service, or substitute for professional medical care. Nothing in the App, including workout history, training metrics, personal records, estimated one-rep maxes, progression suggestions, weight suggestions, the exercise library, or any other content, is intended to diagnose, cure, mitigate, treat, or prevent any disease, condition, injury, or impairment.

No Medical Advice or Professional Relationship

OrthoRep does not provide medical advice, physical therapy, rehabilitation guidance, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or individualized coaching. Using the App does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-patient, trainer-client, coach-athlete, dietitian-client, fiduciary, or other professional relationship between you and ORTHOREP LLC or anyone associated with it.

Progression suggestions, weight suggestions, exercise descriptions, and other content in OrthoRep are generated by fixed rules from your own logged history and are provided for general informational purposes only. They do not account for your medical history, injuries, limitations, medications, fatigue, technique, equipment, environment, or other factors unique to you.

Consult a Qualified Professional

Consult a qualified physician or other licensed healthcare provider before beginning a new exercise program or materially changing your current routine, especially if you:

  • have been inactive for an extended period;
  • have any cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological, or metabolic condition;
  • are recovering from illness, surgery, or injury;
  • are pregnant, recently postpartum, or breastfeeding;
  • take medications that may affect balance, blood pressure, heart rate, coordination, or exercise tolerance; or
  • are unsure whether a particular exercise, training volume, or intensity is appropriate for you.

If you work with a certified trainer, coach, physical therapist, or other qualified professional, use OrthoRep only as a supplementary logging tool, not as a replacement for their instruction or supervision.

Not for Emergencies or Medical Monitoring

OrthoRep is not monitored in real time and does not provide emergency response, medical supervision, fall detection, or alerts to emergency personnel. Heart rate shown during a workout is for general information and is not a medical monitor. Do not rely on OrthoRep, Apple Health, Apple Watch, or a connected heart rate monitor for emergency or time-sensitive decisions. If you believe you may be experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency number immediately.

Apple Health, Apple Watch, and Connected Device Data

OrthoRep may display or use data from Apple Health, Apple Watch sensors, or a Bluetooth heart rate monitor, such as heart rate, active energy, or body weight. This information is provided for general informational and wellness purposes only. It may be delayed, estimated, incomplete, unavailable, or inaccurate, and should not be relied upon for diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, return-to-training decisions, or other medical determinations. Apple Watch and consumer heart rate monitors are not medical devices.

No Guarantee of Safety, Suitability, or Results

We do not guarantee that any exercise, routine, suggestion, progression, training load, or informational content in OrthoRep will be safe, appropriate, effective, or successful for you. We do not guarantee any particular fitness, performance, physique, strength, weight, or health outcome.

Training outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including your health, technique, recovery, consistency, equipment, training environment, and adherence to professional advice.

User Responsibility and Safe Use

You are solely responsible for your decisions, actions, and safety while using OrthoRep and while exercising. Among other things, you are responsible for:

  • learning and using proper exercise form and technique;
  • selecting exercises, weights, resistance, and training volumes appropriate for your abilities, regardless of what the App suggests;
  • using spotters, safety bars, collars, and other protective measures when appropriate;
  • ensuring that equipment and training spaces are safe, properly set up, and in good working order;
  • warming up, cooling down, resting, and recovering appropriately;
  • stopping immediately if you experience pain, dizziness, faintness, nausea, chest pain, shortness of breath, loss of coordination, or other concerning symptoms; and
  • not letting the App, your iPhone, or your Apple Watch distract you from exercising safely or from your surroundings.

Special Populations and Sensitive Use Cases

Use additional caution and seek guidance from a qualified healthcare provider or other qualified professional before relying on OrthoRep if you:

  • are pregnant, recently postpartum, or breastfeeding;
  • are recovering from surgery or injury;
  • have a history of fainting, seizures, chronic pain, or exercise intolerance;
  • have cardiovascular, respiratory, musculoskeletal, neurological, endocrine, or metabolic conditions;
  • take medications that affect physical performance or physiological responses; or
  • have a history of eating disorders, body dysmorphia, compulsive exercise, or disordered eating.

If tracking body weight or performance metrics is distressing or harmful for you, avoid those features or use them only with appropriate professional support.

Inherent Risk of Exercise

Exercise and strength training involve inherent risks, including muscle strains, sprains, joint injuries, tendon or ligament injuries, overuse injuries, rhabdomyolysis, loss of balance, falls, dropped weights, equipment failure, aggravation of existing injuries, and, in rare cases, serious cardiovascular or other medical events. These risks exist whether or not you use OrthoRep.

By exercising while using OrthoRep, you acknowledge that physical activity carries inherent risks and that you choose to take part voluntarily.

Limitation of Responsibility

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ORTHOREP LLC disclaims responsibility for injuries, losses, or damages arising from:

  • your exercise, training, or other physical activity;
  • your decision to follow or not follow any suggestion, content, or data in the App;
  • improper form, excessive loading, overtraining, misuse of equipment, unsafe environments, or lack of supervision;
  • inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, or unavailable data from Apple Health, Apple Watch, heart rate monitors, or device sensors; or
  • your failure to seek medical advice or other qualified professional guidance when appropriate.

Nothing in this disclaimer limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded.

Eligibility

OrthoRep is intended for users who are at least 13 years old. If you are under 18, use OrthoRep only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and talk to a qualified professional before starting a strength training program.
